Since the start of Grace Cheesecakes in 2006, owner Lori Christilaw has created some of the most innovative and mouth-watering cheesecakes around! All the cheesecakes are hand made, artisan quality, created entirely from scratch as they should be, with all natural ingredients including real cream cheese, fresh eggs and as many Wisconsin ingredients as possible.

You can find Grace Cheesecakes (under the orange canopy!!) at the Dane County Farmers’ Market on the capital square during it’s outdoor season when Madison is the best place to live. Then when the weather gets too cold for our fingers to make change, the market moves indoors, first to the Monona Terrace from mid-November to Christmas, then at the Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin, from January until the outdoor market starts again in mid-April. Cheesecake samples are always available so you can taste how yummy they are on the spot. 

Special orders are welcome, so feel free to call or email an order in. There are always cakes on hand at the kitchen, so call for same day or next day pick up. We are currently baking in a shared kitchen on the east side. Sorry, there’s no store front here yet, although cheesecakes are available for pickup. You could also place an order and pick it up at the market any Saturday. We do weddings, rehearsal dinners, wedding parties, funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special occasion you can think of, or no occasion at all.

We sell cheesecakes by the slice, minis and by the whole cake from $11; Gingersnaps and other yummy cookies, rhubarb breakfast bars; and for the holidays we have cookie platters, mini cheesecake platters, gingerbread, old-fashioned shortbread and pfeffernusse, along with gift-wrapped cookies and other delectible treats made with love. Great for a dessert for an informal get-together or for the most elegant affair.

Also available are gluten-free and dairy-free/gluten-free. We always have a gluten-free slice option and whole cakes with us at the market and at the kitchen. Dairy-free/gluten-free need to be special ordered.
